The "Santa Visits Chelsea" event scheduled for Saturday, December 3, has been postponed due to inclement weather expected on Saturday. The event will now take place on Saturday, December 10, beginning at 1:00. See below for more details.
As the calendar turns to December, holiday cheer is coming to Chelsea! See below for more information about the annual Tree Lighting as well as Santa's visit to Chelsea. Residents can also visit Chelsea Prospers for more information about winter holiday events.
Holiday Tree Lighting
When: Thursday, December 1, 2022
Where: Chelsea Square
Time: 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Santa Visits Chelsea
When: Saturday, December 10, 2022 (Rescheduled from Saturday, December 3)
Where: Locations throughout the City (see details below)
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Santa rides on a fire truck around Chelsea | 2:00-3:30 - Santa visits Prattville for a holiday party
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be touring Chelsea this Saturday as the duo will ride around the city in a fire truck to view Chelsea neighborhoods. The tour will begin at 1:00, and end in Washington Park at 2:00. At the park, Santa will attend a holiday party that all residents are welcome to attend. The party will have food, music, and reindeer games!
