Practice safety when celebrating this upcoming holiday

Fireworks represent a fire hazard in our densely populated community. Fireworks can also trigger post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms in our veterans, be overwhelming for some on the autism spectrum, and affect pets.

The City wants to remind residents that the use of fireworks in Chelsea is illegal and violators will be fined up to $300.
