City Services Announcement: Thanksgiving holiday
The City of Chelsea announced the following updates for City services that will be in effect in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday this Thursday, November 23:
- Residential Parking Permit Enforcement will be suspended on Wednesday, November 22, at 6:00pm. Ticketing will not occur all day on Thanksgiving Day. Enforcement will resume on Friday, November 24, beginning at 12:01am.
- No street sweeping on Thanksgiving Day.
- City Hall, Chelsea Public Library, and Chelsea Senior Center will close at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 22. Reopening on Friday, November 24 at 8.00am.
- No trash collection on Thursday, November 23. Trash pick up will be delayed one day for the rest of the week (ie. Thursday and Friday routes will be picked up Friday and Saturday instead).
