City of Chelsea Hurricane Lee Advisory
The following information is shared with Chelsea residents in anticipation of the rain and wind that will be in our area tomorrow (Saturday, September 16) due to the approach of Hurricane Lee.
Please utilize your local weather service for the latest forecasts. In the case of an emergency, please call 911.
- Chelsea OEM - The City's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will be closely monitoring the storm and coordinating the city's response.
- The City Clerk’s Office will be open from 9:00am-5:00pm tomorrow. It is the last day to register to vote for the September 26 Preliminary Election, and the first day of Early Voting. Click here for more information.
- Chelsea Recreation will be open at the Williams School from 9:00am-4:30pm to register residents for fall and winter programs. Click here for more information.
- Residents should call 9-1-1 in the case of dangerous conditions such as falling tree branches
- Residents should report telecommunications issues (phones, internet, cable) to their service provider. Verizon customers can call 1-800-VERIZON (1-800-837-4966) or visit www.verizon.com/outage to report any service-related issue and receive alerts. Small business customers can visit www.verizon.com/business. Xfinity customers can visit https://www.xfinity.com/support/status.
