Cary Square Day of History:  A full day of events in celebration of Chelsea's 400th year


Cary Square Day of History is this Sunday, May 5, from 10 am to 6 pm, at Cary Square. Temple Emmanuel is holding an Open House and partnering with Governor Cary-Bellingham House and the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce to offer a full day of events to celebrate Chelsea's 400th Year.

Program 

  • 10:30am – 11:00am Walking Tour of Cary Square Guided by Lee Farrington & Marsha Johnson. Meet on the steps of Temple Emmanuel (60 Tudor Street) 
  • 11:00am – 2:00pm Governor Bellingham – Cary House Open House (34 Parker Street) 
  • 2:00pm – 6:00pm Temple Emmanuel Open House (60 Tudor Street)
  • 2:30pm - 3:00pm Grand Opening of the Jewish Chelsea Museum  
  • 3:30 – 4:15 pm Storytelling: Life in Jewish Chelsea  
  • 4:15 – 4:30 pm Film: Chelsea, The Jewish Years by Ellen Rovner 
  • 2:00pm - 6:00pm Marketplace & Family Activities Temple Emmanuel Courtyard
